An optimal scan of a roof should be

1. Conducted in the evening, after sunset
2. A light breeze (usually on roofs this is not a problem)
3. A few days after the last good rain.
4. • What is good rain? The opposite of pooling rain.
5. In other words the roof surface should appear dry.
6. Standing water will detract from the precision of the inspection.

With an Infrared Camera and a can of paint TrendFormers will asses your facility roof for water damage and possible leak locations.

The water, having a different thermal capacitance (or the ability to hold heat) than the roof surface will rear its hidden streams and lakes.
